Who doesn’t love Garlic-Basil Butter? Follow these instructions to enhance the taste of meat, bread and vegetables. There is a free printable recipe at the bottom of the page.
4 large garlic cloves
¼ cup packed fresh basil leaves
¼ teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
¼ teaspoon coarse salt
1 cup (2 sticks) butter
In a food processor, combine garlic, pepper, salt and basil. Process until garlic is finely chopped. Add butter and process just until mixed.
Pack in small containers and refrigerate until firm.
To freeze, spoon in individual mounds, pack in freezer-safe container or roll in freezer paper.
Package in a cute jar for gift giving.
Garlic-Basil Butter is fantastic on fresh bread. You can also use it on beef, chicken, pork or shrimp. It’s also great on corn on the cob or tossed in hot pasta.
